Welcome to Cohoon Kinesiology Chiropractic & Rehab, conveniently located at 3007 Garden Grove Parkway in Hutchinson-the heart of Kansas. Here, our professionals know that health and continued wellness is a journey, not a destination. Our mission is to help our patients accomplish their goals in nutritional education, structural balance, weight-loss, and pain-free living.

We are here to reaffirm the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient and provide an integrative focus on the whole person. We are informed by evidence, and make use of the latest nutritional and therapeutic approaches for healing, weight-loss and pain-free living. We aim to educate our patients in a safe environment while offering them comprehensive care. We understand that many people have stressful lives day to day, so we created a soothing environment and a scheduling system that never keeps you waiting long. 

 
 

  • Dr. Ty Cohoon is a practicing chiropractic physician who has been in private practice in Hutchinson, KS since 2003. He received his bachelor's degree In Human Biology with Honors from the University of Kansas. He then earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic postgraduate He was awarded the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Cohoon has a passion for helping patients regain their health through natural and noninvasive means. This passion drives a constant pursuit to learn the latest, greatest, and most effective ways to evaluate and treat his patients. He has taken several thousand hours of postgraduate studies in the areas of chiropractic, nutrition, and neurology. Dr. Cohoon has enjoyed studying under, and mentoring with, many well-known doctors of all disciplines from all over the country. It is his unwavering pursuit of searching for answers that led Dr. Cohoon to finding Nutrimost!

    In addition to striving to be the best possible doctor for his patients, Dr. Cohoon is married to the love of his life Danielle and has three boys; Peyton, Bryce, and Jamison.

 

Meet the Team

 

  • Cohoon Kinesiology Chiropractic and Rehab is excited to announce the recent addition of Hutchinson native, Dr. Jack D. (J.D.) Stanfield, to the CK team.

    After graduating from The University of Kansas, Dr. Stanfield attended Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, MO, where he graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Chiropractic and also received a Master's in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. 

    While in Chiropractic school, Dr. Stanfield had the chance to work at the Jefferson Barrack’s Veteran’s Hospital in the Spinal Trauma unit, evaluated sports injuries for the St. Louis SLAM, a Semi-Pro Women’s tackle football team, had the opportunity to treat D-1 football players (from a certain Missouri school, which shall remain unnamed) and was selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

    Dr. Stanfield comes to Cohoon Kinesiology after practicing for three years in McPherson, Kansas, where he gained specialization in the treatment of athletic, occupational and other common injuries.  In addition to chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Stanfield uses several different soft-tissue techniques, which can help in the treatment of joint pain, disc bulges, headaches, Tennis Elbow, Frozen Shoulder and many more conditions.  He prides himself of providing compassionate, individualized care and appropriate rehabilitation, in addition to a variety of other services, to each and every one of his patients.
